Responsible Gambling at Bizzo
Gambling has to stay a paid form of entertainment. The moment it stops feeling that way — when you are chasing losses, hiding play from people you live with, or borrowing money to fund a session — it is time to pull on the brake. This page lays out the brakes we have built into the account, the ones that actually work, and the people you can ring if you want a human voice instead of a settings panel.
The Tools You Have on Your Account
Sign in, open the account menu, and choose Responsible Gambling. Five tools live there: deposit limit, loss limit, wager limit, session-time reminder, and self-exclusion. Each is enforced server-side, which means closing the browser, clearing cookies or installing the PWA fresh does not get around it. Limits apply across every device that uses the same account.
Deposit Limit
Set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on how much you can deposit. The cap counts AU dollar value at deposit time — a A$200 weekly limit lets you deposit A$200 in seven rolling days, regardless of whether you withdrew anything in between. Lower a deposit limit and it activates instantly. Raise one and it waits 24 hours before taking effect — the cooling window is deliberate, because the moment a player asks for a higher limit is exactly the moment they should not be allowed to act on the impulse.
Loss Limit
This is the one most punters under-use. The loss limit caps net AU dollars lost in a window — not deposited, but lost after wins are subtracted. If you set A$100 daily, win A$50, then lose A$120, you are at A$70 net loss and still have A$30 to play. Once the cap hits, you cannot place another wager that day even if your balance is positive.
Wager Limit and Session Reminder
Wager limit caps total stake placed in a window — useful for people who burn through bonus balance fast. Session reminders ping you every 15, 30 or 60 minutes with a pop-over showing how long you have been logged in and how much you have wagered in the session. They cannot be silenced for the day.
Cooling Off and Self-Exclusion
If limits are not enough, you have three escalation steps:
7-day cooling-off: the account is locked for a week. You will not be marketed to during the window, and you cannot reverse it.
6-month self-exclusion: account locked for six months. Pending withdrawals still process, but no new deposits or wagers go through.
Permanent self-exclusion: account closed forever. We retain the legal-minimum data for the time the law requires and delete the rest. We share the exclusion across our sister brands so you cannot quietly open a fresh account on a related domain.
To activate any of these, open chat and ask. The agent will not try to talk you out of it, and there is no clawback of bonus balance — only stake that has not yet cleared wagering will be voided per terms.
If You Want to Talk to a Person
The free line in Australia is 1800 858 858 — Gambling Help Online. It is staffed 24/7, free from Australian mobiles, and you do not have to give your name. Web chat with the same service runs at gamblinghelponline.org.au. For an international view, gamcare.org.uk and begambleaware.org publish solid self-help material in English.
Signs to Take Seriously
You are spending more than you can afford to lose. You are gambling on money set aside for rent or groceries. You are hiding it from a partner. You feel anxious when you cannot play, or relieved when you finally do. Sessions are getting longer rather than shorter. Any of those, and the limit tools are not enough — call the line.
Under-18s
Bizzo Casino is for adults 18 and over. We run age verification at registration and at first withdrawal. If you suspect a minor has accessed your account, change the password and email [email protected] immediately so we can close it and reverse any wagers placed.
